Age Verification Services or AVS' for short offer many opportunities for webmasters. In addition to helping keep minors out of adult sites there are several ways to make money with them. The most obvious way is using them to restrict access to your site and making money from people who sign up with the service for access. (If you choose this method use only one AVS per site.) You can also use these services as a traffic generator to bring paying customers to your site where you can advertise your pay per call numbers, video services, etc.. (To do this sign up for every reputable AVS you can find.) You can also make money by referring the services to other webmasters as I am doing here (sign up for all these services). Validate is another adult site protection service. Starting in November 1996 Validate memberships will be $8.95 for one year and $15.95 for 2 years. Webmasters who use Validate exclusively will be paid $6.00 per 1 year signup/renewal, $12.00 per 2 year signup/renewal. Non-exclusive web sites receive $5.00 per 1 year signup and $1.00 per 1 year renewal, $10.00 per 2 year signup and $2.00 per 2 year renewal.

Validates webmaster referral program pays $50.00 for every new webmaster you sign up. Not nearly as good a program as Adult Check, but $50.00 is better than a kick in the ass.

Validate also has an excellent webmasters lounge. I would recommend setting up with this service just so you can get access to their message boards.

Opportunity #3 - AVS

Porno Pass is one of my favorite services. It sells well just because of its name. I recommend promoting this service as "Specializing in HARDCORE Sites" to increase sign ups.

Real-AVS

Real-AVS is one of the newest AVS services. They have a MLM style payout that pays down 4 levels. They are too new to have much of a track record but I really like their payout schedule. With any MLM style program such as this one you need to spend as much time promoting the service as you do the product. This is especially true for you new guys with low traffic sites; find established webmasters and sell them this program so you can collect on all their sales. The guy who signed me up is going to be very happy very soon.
